Yes we prefer that you drink decaffeinie or the islands healing fresh spring water, but yes room service may even personally bicyclette it to you because we insist on having fun!
I do not really like the beach. Do you have a pool?

Why do you offer spa accommodations don’t you think that is a bit much?
We know many of our guests have not taken care of themselves and scientific research has proven that physical wellness plays a very important role in successful rehabilitation.
You must be very expensive! How much do your Addiction Centers cost?
Our pricing is all-inclusive: addiction treatment, holistic therapies, spa accommodations, room service and our pilot one year after-care plan. We do offer several different choices. Depending on which service you are inquiring about we can quote pricing. We know The Scott presents as if it is very expensive, but our cost is similar to those of our competitors and we offer much more. Please note that some of our Comte Des Cierges choices are more costly in particular situations where only the most prominent medical or clinical experts will do.
Is this equivalent to Medical Tourism?
Yes it is. Many citizens in the U.S. find that traveling outside the U.S. for medical or addiction treatment programs are far more affordable. We are owned by an American who has built longstanding key relationships in the field of addiction and research worldwide for over 23 years and who also has many years of recovery. What if we want our family member to have particular religious spiritual counseling. Can you that?
Yes we can. We will fly in the specialist.
Why would you fly in a specialist for me?
Our standards are to provide our guests with exceptional addiction treatment service. Both our guests and professionals look forward to traveling to our location. If there is a specific area of rehabilitation that we know you will benefit greatly from we will fly in that specialist(s) to work with you directly.
Can you give me an example of a specialist?
Yes, for example, if you have been drinking heavily due to the passing of a loved one we will fly in the top grief counselor(s) in the world or if your chronic substance abuse is caused by too much stress at work we will design a specific addiction integrative treatment track tailor made for you that will also address lifestyle management skills plus, there may be a visiting addiction specialist or two on-site.
What does a visiting addiction specialist mean?
That means we invite professionals who are the finest in the addiction field for an introduction stay as long as they donate part of their time or new researched therapy to test it out.
Oh that is so cool. What kind of new therapies do they test out?
Our medical and clinical addiction personnel have worked successfully with their own clientele. A new therapy means a PhD that has developed research over many years that has been highly successful with their own clientele or has even worked for them personally that is not prescription drug related.
Will all of this really work for me when I return home?

A Sober Companion is a trained professional in their field, as a Companion. They are not a highly skilled team of clinical experts such as Medical Personnel, Scientific Researchers, PhD’s, Psy.D’s, MFT’s, Addiction Counselors, Holistic Therapists, other Wellness Therapists and more.
What if I am too drunk or too high to fly?
The airline will kick you off the flight. You must wait until you are a little more alert, unless you are flying in a private plane.
I am in a very bad environment right now can you please come and get me?
Yes we can worldwide!
How many locations do you have?
Three: Tahiti – Los Angeles – Europe.
Are all three locations Treatment Centers?
Tahiti is our main Addiction Center or Treatment Center. Los Angeles & Europe are Comte Des Cierges one-on-one locales.
What sort of payments do you accept?
Direct Deposit: A guests preferred choice. It is the most streamlined method of payment in a crisis situation.
Credit card: A guest will be required to sign three waivers through our attorney’s and it takes up to three days to process.
Insurance: After treatment is completed there are certain Doctors that may be covered by your insurance plan that your insurance company may compensate.
Do you only work with famous guests?
We work with everyone. Yes, we work with very high-profile guests to executives to housewives and more. Addiction does not discriminate.
How long can I stay there?
As short or as long as you like. We suggest at least 30 days, it is always better to stay 60 days. Some individuals need one year. If you only want to stay a week or two that is fine too.
I am leaving another treatment facility and I want to come live there for a while until I feel ready. Can I do that?
Yes you can.
I just want my alcoholic or addicted family member to be as comfortable as possible without checking them into a mental institution. Can you please help our family with this?
Yes we can.
I have been in recovery for a short or long time and want to reconnect. Can I do this?
Yes you can.
I am really sick and do not feel like putting on a show. Will I be comfortable there?
All of our locations are very comfortable especially Tahiti. Take off your shoes throw on a pareo and relax!
I do not want anyone to know where I am. Will paparazzi find me there?
All of our locations are very exclusive.
Is everyone who works with The Scott required to sign a Confidentiality Agreement?
Everyone.
I don’t like to feel left out. Will I ever feel left out?
Never. We have been there ourselves. We completely understand what you are going through. You will have a sense of belonging.
Do you have a Gym?
We are setting up a gym in Tahiti right now, yes in Los Angeles and not yet in Europe.
Is there a Chapel?
Yes in Tahiti. It is called: The Hut of Hope.
Oh don’t give me that religious stuff. What if I am an atheist or other religious affiliation?
That is fine to. We have no religious affiliation. We respect your beliefs and/or non-beliefs all you have to do is flip the sign over and for you it is called: The Hope of Hut.
Do I need an assessment first over the phone?
Yes you need a clinical assessment so we can design a integrative treatment track to see what the ideal fit is for you.
I have very particular food preferences. Do you offer a special food menu?
At all of our locations we provide organic fresh food fare. Tahiti is particularly self-sustaining, all fruits and vegetables are grown organically in Tahiti or may be from New Zealand. All the fish is wild-caught from the Tahitian ocean. All the meat is from New Zealand. The water is fresh spring water from Tahiti. The chefs culinary style are influenced by world-famous French recipes with a polynesian twist. The CEO prefers fresh coconut creme in her decaffeinie & she gets it. Please note there are some items in Tahiti that are not as easy to get and many items are imported from France. We require that you make a request in advance and we will do our best to accommodate.
Oh smoking. What about smoking? Can I smoke?
Yes at all of our locations. We respect your right to smoke as long as it is outside. We strongly encourage you not to detox off of everything at once. However, we do offer clinical therapy to help you with this to. We provide outdoor cigarette dispensers for you and request that at all times you never throw your butts on the ground. The CEO has entered a Cigarette Butt Lei into Lei Day in Hawaii to change the law for this very reason. We request out of respect for Mother Nature that you throw your butts in our cigarette dispensers. Did you know that birds, fish, turtles and more eat cigarette butts? and beaches around the world are turning into ashtrays?
Is there smog?
Not an ounce in Tahiti. Yes in Los Angeles & a little in France.

That all sounds really great, but what if I do not feel like doing anything?
Many times guests just want to come and not do anything for a while until their bodies heal. We understand. We have been there. It is alright. The Scott is a wonderful place to heal. You can just sit back and enjoy the view.
What entertainment do you provide?
We provide one night or two nights of entertainment at all locations. In Tahiti we have traditional Tahitian musicians, dancers, outdoor movie night, Traditional Tahitian Luau’s, of course CNN, The Scott Boutique and more.
The Scott Boutique? Do you mean I can do a little shopping? What’s in the boutique?
Yes you can. We have everything from pareos, thongs, custom made black pearl jewelry, recovery inspired items and much more. You do need to pay for boutique items which are your only out-of-pocket expense.
Can I bring my doggie?
Yes, you can to Tahiti – Los Angeles – Europe. Air France & Air Tahiti Nui will accept a doggie on board less than 7 pounds. If your doggie is over 7 pounds Air France & Air Tahiti will allow you to transport them in a container in the baggage carrier of the plane.
There is plenty of room to bring your favorite pet and they will also receive exceptional doggie service.
NOTE: Your doggie will only need to go through the local kennel to sign paperwork and check-out immediately in Tahiti. You cannot bring your animal to Hawaii. It will be housed in a kennel for three to six months.
Can I bring my wife, husband, best friend, posse, or favorite co-dependent person(s)?
Yes, you can. They will be a guest in separate quarters and they must be open to receiving education about addiction or get involved with our family program.
Do I have to pay for them too?
Yes you do, but we will work with you.
Can I bring drugs or alcohol with me?
There are Police Dogs at every airport. If you or any fellow traveller smuggle any illegal drugs with you, you will be arrested. Do not under any circumstances whatsoever bring any illegal drugs with you at all to any location. There are no liquids allowed when you enter through security at airports.
Are there direct flights to Tahiti? Which flights fly directly there?

When is the best time to book a flight to Tahiti?

Is there a private airport? Do you have a helicopter pad?
Yes there are private airports in Tahiti – Los Angeles – Europe. Yes we have a private helicopter landing pad in Tahiti.

Do I need a passport?
Depending on which country you are traveling from please keep in mind that even though French Polynesia is very close to Hawaii. It is a French overseas territory so more than likely you will need a passport, especially if you are arriving from the U.S.
Where can I get my passport approved quickly?
There are expedited passport services in your area. The fee will be close to $500 U.S. Dollars or go to universal currency converter www.xe.com. If you have your required Birth Certificate you may get it overnight or in two to three days. In the U.S. if you do not have your birth certificate you may call the hospital where you were born and you can pick it up from there or they will send it to you. This may be the same protocol in your country. It is best to check online.
What do you offer that other Treatment Centers do not offer?
